"And as he looked into the sky, there were twice as many stars as usual." Here is my favorite site ever: youraislopbores.me
This website is a big work-in-progress, but my ultimate goal is to create a sort of representation of myself in my entirety. Which is lofty, but i feel like i wanna infodump so this is the move.
I really appricate stardew, its cozy and kinda grindy, which are two things i love in games. I havent achieved perfection yet even though i have 100+ hours and also the JPcheats mod installed so its lowkey a skill issue at this point. My favorite bachelor is elliot! And bachelorette is emily! Achievement hunting for this game is very very time consuming, but i enjoy playing for long stretches.
I really loved house flipper one, i went through all the base game missions and did everything perfectly. I was also (at first) amiable to purchasing DLCs. Now? after the release of House flipper two, and the continuous additions of DLCs that are always at least 10$, i lowkey dislike this game. Frozen district likes to lock achievements behind these DLCs, and its super frustrating because im going broke from all the money im shelling out for these things. House flipper two is a whole different beast. While i did not fully 100% house flipper one because of the locked achievements and lowkey annoying amount of base game achievements (circa 70 i think), i did 100% house flipper two. I love the new updated artstyle, UI, and general quality of life updates. And i vowed to not buy any DLCs for this second game... until the house flipper x scooby doo collab came out. like what???? that was actually made for me! I. love. scooby. doo. And halloween in general! I had to make an exception. and i played it, 100%-ed it, and loved every moment of it.
This is kind of a niche one, or at least nobody i mention this game to has heard of it. I love this game's weird mix of like cartoony loony toons plots with real people actors. I think its absolutely hilarious. This is probably my favorite game ever, it checks all the boxes: price to gameplay ratio (its 25$ and it takes like 10+ hours to get through JUST ONE ENDING! WHEN THERE ARE MANY ENDINGS), general hilarity and interesting plot, and good gameplay (especially on the hardest mode, its a good challenge and the DLCs provide extra bits to pay attention to). I just really like this game (minus jeremy)
The artstyle and soundtrack of this game is amazing. Its dreamy and the like soft storyline of the protag trying to improve and accept himself is sweet. 100%-ing this one was a challenge because part of it involved beating every level perfectly on the hardest mode. I enjoyed it nevertheless, and i heard that you can set up a midi drum kit to be the triggers like instead of your keyboard. I havent tried that yet but i lowkey want to.
This game is popular for a reason, the art and story is absolutely beautiful. Ive always been a sci-fi fan so i love love love the dystopian like techy setting. The gameplay was fun, but i times i found quick turning difficult. theres the one moment where youre waiting for an elevator to desend and are attacked by a mountain of zurks and dude- it took me a shit ton of tries. that could be a skill issue though. The ending made me cry because i tried really hard to avoid spoilers so it was like totally unexpected. 10/10 would meow again
